San Francisco Snippets
Part One?
We went to San Francisco for a week in early May. It was our first big trip since before Covid, so it was even more exciting than it would've been otherwise I guess. We visited friends there who used to live in New York, where we visited them in 2019 - our last big trip before the pandemic!
At first I wanted to draw a proper travel diary, but I’m terrible at drawing while travelling, I get overwhelmed and I’m too slow at drawing for it to not take up too much time. So I’m drawing what stuck with me now that I’m back home at my desk, without any particular order.
(I’ve bravely called this “Part One” in hopes of there being several more parts even though I’m often not very good at following through but we’ll see. :))
I have since looked this up - it wasn’t just something I imagined, it’s one of the things Snowy Plovers are known for.
I loved the San Francisco weather, it was perfect for me! But unfortunately I did not bring the perfect wardrobe. I only had one woolen sweater and I definitely could’ve done with another one, maybe a thicker one even for the foggy days. But I’m not complaining, layering worked fine, too! :D
